Ministry of Education and Research

The Ministry of Education and Research is responsible for the Government’s education, research and youth policy. The Ministry aims for Sweden to be a prominent research nation in which research and innovation are conducted to a high standard, contributing to the development of society and the competitiveness of industry. In the area of research policy, its main task is to be setting the policy with aim and directions according to the Government Bill on Research. In Sweden, this working process involves main actors in the society such as agencies, organisations of interest, research foundations, etc.
