Main activity summary
The Austrian Science Board has two main functions. It advises the Federal Minister for Science, Research and Economy as well as the universities, and it advises the Austrian National Parliament and the regional assemblies about matters concerning the universities and generally on special questions of scientific policy and the arts. Furthermore, the Board observes and analyses the Austrian university system and scientific system, and produces recommendations for their further development.
