This report summarises the work and lessons from the Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility (PSF) Mutual Learning Exercise (MLE) on Administration and Monitoring of R&D tax incentives.
An MLE is a project-based learning process whereby participating countries, assisted by a small group of experts and policy peers, jointly examine a challenge-driven policy question or an implementation issue linked to a policy reform in detail.

This is the second of five reports that will be produced as the main deliverables of the MLE on Alignment and Interoperability of Research Programmes. This programme aims at encouraging firms to invest in the R&D needed for creating innovative products, services and processes. In addition, it promotes the development of new firms by investing in R&D and innovation infrastructure's creation. It has an overall budget of €139m.
