This strategy is an updated strategy of the first national cluster strategy launched in 2013. This strategy follows up on the original initiatives. Cluster and networks are drivers of growth and innovation. The three main focus areas of the strategy are: 1. Denmark has a number of strong clusters that are leading international that support the further development of the strong Danish positions 2. Denmark has a number of clusters that through collaboration support the regional development potentials 3.

This publication puts forward more than 100 initiatives to facilitate growth and development in all of Denmark. The publication observes that growth and development is unevenly distributed across the country with a positive trend mainly around the Capital Copenhagen and the Mid-Jutland region.
